James Cowper Kreston has announced that Phil Snell has been promoted to the role of partner within the firm. This appointment brings the number of partners at the firm to 22.

Snell joined James Cowper Kreston in 2018 as a part of the tax team after many years with one of the Big Four accountancy firms. A Chartered Tax Adviser with over 10 years of experience of advising owner managed and private equity back businesses, Phil was a valuable addition to the team.

“I’m thrilled to have been promoted to partner,” said Snell. “Whilst I have only been at James Cowper Kreston for a relatively short period of time, I have already been able to witness the firm’s dedication to clients and integrity in all that they do. These values are what spurred me to move forward within the firm and I look forward to working with the rest of the partnership to enable the business to continue to thrive.”

Robert Holland, managing partner at James Cowper Kreston, said: “I am delighted that Phil has joined the Partnership. His experience providing tax advice across many of the sectors in which we operate makes him a vital asset to the firm and we are excited about the contribution he can make to our continued success in the future as a partner.”

With offices in Reading, Newbury, Henley, Oxford, Southampton and London, James Cowper Kreston has a client base of over 5,000 businesses and private individuals. The firm is also a member of Kreston International, the global network of independent accountants and business advisers and ideally placed to provide informed local, national and international advice.
