Southampton-based CMA Recruitment Group has promoted Neil Phillips to Managing Director.
Neil has been with CMA for 20 years, the past 12 of which he has served as Operations Director. His recent promotion represents one of many instances of people development at the firm, as three fellow board members have risen through the ranks in similar fashion.
He will be working alongside Director Mark Smith, who joined as a trainee recruiter in 2007 before finally earning a place on the board earlier this year.
Neil said: “This really does demonstrate that CMA is a place where people can develop their skills, increase job satisfaction, build professional networks, gain recognition and credibility, and advance their careers.”
The firm offers recruitment consultancy services across the Solent and Thames Valley regions. Last year it supported the campaigns of 482 businesses, and has helped more than 28,000 candidates to secure their desired roles.
On the future of CMA, Neil said: “Our vision is focused on growth, innovation, sustainability and opportunity. Our goal is to create an environment where people bond around shared values, feel valued as human beings, and have a voice indecisions that affect them.
“All of which will allow us to offer a remarkable service that meets the evolving needs of our candidates and clients.”
