Leading accountancy firm HWB has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of two new audit and accounts business advisers, Fiona Jones and Geninne Ball.

Geninne Ball ACCA joined the firm on September 28 having worked in accounting and finance for more than 10 years. She specialises in advising owner managed businesses that do not require an audit.

Fiona Jones ACA started with HWB on October 5, having joined from a mid-tier firm. Jones advises owner-managed businesses that require an audit, she also has a charity specialism and will enjoy advising the firms growing not-for-profit client base. She is fluent in French which may be useful with Brexit coming.

Michaela Johns, director at HWB, said: “We’re delighted to announce the recruitment of two new senior members of our audit and accounts team, we were hoping to welcome them earlier in the year but this was not practical due to the pandemic. Both bring with them numerous years of experience, allowing us to continue to provide exceptional customer service to our clients.

"In August we also took on two graduates and a gap year student to be able to service our ever growing client base, we are very pleased to welcome new faces to the team."

HWB is based in Southampton, and provides accounting, tax and business advisory services to organisations across Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset & West Sussex.
