Amanda Myatt has been appointed as the KPMG head of retail for the south region. Myatt has been with the firm for 22 years, initially beginning her career in audit, before specialising in transaction services.
In her most recent role as retail lead for transaction services across London and the south, Myatt provided due diligence support on numerous major retail transactions including: the acquisition of Crew Clothing by Exquisite Apparel; Naked Wines plc’s disposal of the Majestic Wine retail store estate; the sale of a minority stake in Wasabi Sushi Bento; and the sale of Gill Marine.
Andrew Morgan, KPMG’s South Region chair, added: “I’m delighted that Amanda Myatt has taken on this important role for the south. She will leverage considerable experience and insight from her time leading retail transactions across the region.”
Myatt takes over the role from Paula Claisse, who has been appointed to head of risk for the south region. KPMG’s south region has five offices: Thames Valley, South Coast, Bristol, Plymouth, and Cardiff.
