Reading’s Obsorne Clarke advises in £5million seed funding transaction
Reading based Legal Practitioners Osborne Clarke advised investors AlbionVC on the £5million seed round raised for the 5Mins AI, a gamified learning platform for employee upskilling.
The deal was overseen by Osborne Clarke’s growth capital partner Justin Starling with a team including ventura and growth capital associate director Elizabeth Yell and corporate associate Chris Flach.
The technology being invested in, the 5Mins AI, is designed to improve growth and development opportunities in the workplace. It uses a TikTok style feed and intelligent personalization technology to engage its users.
Investment Director at Albion Capital Nadine Torbey said: ‘’5Mins sits at the crossroads of two massive shifts: employee engagement on one side and ‘TikTokisation of everything’ on the other. The impressive commercial momentum and next level user engagement the company has experienced is testament that the market is craving more personalised, engaging learning tools.’’
