PwC has admitted four new equity partners in its growing Reading office. Adam Horey and Tim Armstrong are the newest deals partners, while Daniel Thompson and Erika Campbell join as new tax partners.

Adam Horey has been with the firm since 2012, before which he worked in a number of European and North American banks as a leveraged financier. He will be responsible for growing the debt advisory practice across the South East region, and working with a varied portfolio of clients.

Tim Armstrong, who moved to the Reading office last year, will be responsible for growing the lead advisory practice across the South East. He will work with the private business team on developing strategic agendas, particularly those with a mergers and acquisitions focus.

Daniel Thompson, who has been with the firm since joining as a graduate, will be focussing primarily on the US Inbound market. He will also work alongside the Audit practice on their audit of tax on UK outbounds.

Erika Campbell is also a new tax partner. Having spent time working in cities such as Aberdeen, Moscow and London, Campbell will bring her diverse experience to the people and organisation practice, with an oil and gas specialism.

The appointments coincide with significant investment into the Reading office. The office has recently opened a new technology enabled space known as ‘Frontier,’ supporting ambitions for the Thames Valley region as a technology hub.

John Ellis, PwC Reading office senior partner, said: “Our considerable investment into the Reading office has allowed us to grow our team, and provide them with significant development opportunities. I am delighted to be welcoming four new talented partners into our Reading practice.

“Each of our new partners brings sector expertise and experience, which will ultimately help our breadth of clients across the Thames Valley and Reading area with the opportunities and challenges they are facing.”

PwC has admitted 69 directors to the partnership across its UK business. These partners, along with the 13 direct entry partners who joined the firm throughout the year, brings the total UK partner numbers to 944.
