Reading-based Boyes Turner hires residential property specialist

Thames Valley law firm Boyes Turner has appointed Alan Tibber as partner to lead its residential property practice, a new role for the company.
Alan established his own residential property firm at the age of 30 and brings over 20 years’ experience to the growing team at Boyes Turner. Among other roles, he has served as external examiner at the Council for Licensed Conveyancers and contributed to the course for the new conveyancing apprenticeship scheme.
Alan said: “Boyes Turner has a fantastic reputation, and by moving here I can scale up my practice and ensure my clients benefit from the wider expertise of this firm – from dispute resolution to private client, family and corporate commercial law.
“There has been some upheaval in the market, but the reality does not match the scare mongering headlines in some media. Mortgage interest rates are levelling off at around 4%, and I predict that the market will be as buoyant as ever this Spring and Summer.”
