Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership and Worcestershire County Council have revealed this year’s crystal glass trophies for the Worcestershire Apprenticeships Awards.

Winners from the ten individual categories of the Worcestershire Apprenticeships Awards will be presented with a personalised crystal glass trophy. The two overall winners will receive the prestigious large crystal awards. The high-quality trophies have been made possible thanks to support from the trophy sponsor, West Midlands Apprenticeship Ambassador Network.

This year’s black-tie awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 14 November and will be presented by the former British Paralympic swimmer and gold medallist, Marc Woods, who is set to welcome an audience of 350 people to the event at the West Midland Safari Park, Tree Tops Pavilion.

The popular ceremony will recognise outstanding achievement in the two overall awards of Apprenticeship Employer of the Year, which is sponsored by Yamazaki Mazak UK Ltd and Apprentice of the Year, sponsored by Southco Manufacturing.

Craig Watson, Business Plan Project Manager at West Midlands Apprenticeship Ambassador Network, said:“We are very proud to be sponsoring the Worcestershire Apprenticeships Awards to recognise the contribution made in showcasing Apprenticeships in the county. We work in partnership with the National Apprenticeship Service, Local Enterprise Partnerships, Sector Bodies and Chambers of Commerce to ‘Fly the Flag’ for Apprenticeships across the region.”

Gary Woodman, Chief Executive of Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership, added: “I would like to give our thanks to West Midlands Apprenticeship Ambassador Network for sponsoring these magnificent crystal glass trophies. We have seen growing support from employers across the county for apprenticeships and I look forward to celebrating all the effort that goes in to making apprenticeships a success.”

Cllr Marcus Hart, Cabinet Member with responsibility for Education and Skills at Worcestershire County Council, added: “We are delighted to have the support of the West Midlands Apprenticeship Ambassador network for this year’s trophies. I look forward to seeing some of the county’s most dedicated advocates of apprenticeships receive these incredible glass trophies on the 14 November.”
