Osborne Clarke advises the shareholders of Connect Assist on its sale to Maximus
Reading-based lawyers at international legal practice Osborne Clarke have advised the shareholders of Connect Assist Limited on the sale of the business to Maximus UK Services Limited.
Connect Assist is a specialist outsourced omni-channel contact centre business, with a particular focus on the charity and public sectors. They deliver positive customer outcomes for public sector, charity and socially-focussed organisations, using complex technology.
Maximus UK is one of the largest providers of employment, health and disability support programmes in the country. The combination of the two businesses will allow the team to deliver their specialist services to a wider range of clients. Connect Assist is led by Managing Director Ron Moody, who remains with the business to continue leading the team forward.
The Osborne Clarke team advising the shareholders was led by Partner Tim Hewens, Associate Director Robert Pook and Associate Anna Mattingley. Both Robert and Anna are based in Osborne Clarke's Reading office.
