Osborne Clarke advises Redstor funding

Reading-based lawyers Osborne Clarke have advised Beech Tree Private Equity and the management team of Redstor, a category-leading data management and SaaS protection company, in relation to the sale and management's reinvestment into the Redstor Group.  

As part of the transaction Redstor also receives a growth investment from Bregal Milestone, the leading European technology growth capital firm managing over €1 billion dedicated to investments in high-growth technology companies.  

With more than 40,000 customers worldwide, Redstor will use the financing to fuel its international expansion into the United States and accelerate its AI-enabled platform and overall growth. 

The Osborne Clarke team was led by Partners Greg Leyshon and Mike Freer, with support from Senior Associate Leanne Maund, Associate Matthew Hunt and trainee solicitor Chris Flach from the Corporate and Private Equity team. The tax advice was led by Mathew Oliver, with Senior Associate Alex Makinson and Associate Ben Deoh, and Senior Associate Laura Hanley provided banking advice.   

Greg, Mike and Matthew Hunt are based in Osborne Clarke’s Reading office.
