Newland Homes creates new role of Head of Customer Care
Claire Fairchild has been appointed as Head of Customer Care at Newland Homes, the privately owned housebuilder based in Gloucestershire. This is a newly created position for the company.
Claire has an extensive background in customer care, having previously held similar roles at Crest Nicholson and Cala Group, as well as helping to establish a research agency which investigated customer experience post completion for over 100 UK-based regional housebuilders.
She takes the reins of Newland Homes’ existing Customer Care team and intends to empower them in their roles by introducing new data management systems, additional quality control checks and an expanded training programme.
Claire said: “It’s clear that everyone at Newland Homes is working together to achieve a common goal and wants to do their best by their customers, staff and contractors. It’s a supportive working environment where you’re entrusted to make things happen and to deliver the company’s considerate, conscientious and crafted motto that they take great pride in. I see my new role as bringing out the best in everyone, in order to deliver a professional service throughout the full customer journey.”
Claire reports to Ian Hughes, Associate Construction Director at Newland Homes.
He said: “Claire will be a great asset to the Newland Homes team. She has extensive technical knowledge to help fully understand and resolve any purchaser questions, plus she is utterly client-focused and will go the extra mile to ensure the customer is placed at the heart of everything we do.”
Newland Homes has developments underway in Tickenham and Claverham in North Somerset, Chapmanslade, Semington, Malmesbury and Westbury in Wiltshire, and Leckhampton in Gloucestershire. Last year the house builder introduced its pioneering zero carbon homes, which use renewable technologies for heat and power, at Tickenham, Semington and Chapmanslade. All upcoming developments will provide zero carbon homes.
