South Coast law firm Lester Aldridge has recruited new partners Bethan Dodd and Gilly Locke to its Southampton office.
Gilly Locke joins the firm’s Restructuring and Insolvency team and will specialise in all types of insolvency litigation, particularly insolvency and fraud asset recovery in both corporate and personal matters. Bethan Dodd, an experienced real estate lawyer, advises clients on transactional commercial property matters and has particular expertise in the healthcare sector.
"Both insolvency and real estate are key specialisms for our firm and their arrival further strengthens these teams, continuing our growth in these sectors", said Managing Partner Matthew Barrow.
Lester Aldridge has recently also announced it has recruited eight new trainee solicitors, who joined the law firm’s training programme. Helen Whitaker, Alicia Rice, Scott Smid, Rosalind Waite, Charlotte Jasicki, Finola Whelan, Elliot Leadbeater and Amy Lundie started their two-year training contract. Prior to starting their training, seven out of eight of the group have been working as paralegals at Lester Aldridge in various departments. The trainee solicitors will undertake placements in four different "seats" at the firm, gaining expertise in a variety of legal specialisms.
