Commenting on her promotion, Jones said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be promoted to partner. LA is an incredible firm with outstanding lawyers. The partners are of such a high calibre so to be counted among them is a real honour.”
Rachel Gimson, also based in Bournemouth, becomes a partner in the property litigation team. Gimson has considerable experience in a wide range of property dispute matters, including a variety of commercial and residential lease disputes such as contested lease renewals, break notices, breach of covenant, forfeiture, dilapidations and service charge disputes.
Gimson commented: “I am delighted to have been promoted to partner and to continue my career with a strong local firm with a great presence. The team made my move to the firm following maternity leave less daunting and I look forward to what is to come.”
Rebecca Humm, based in Southampton, becomes a partner in the real estate team. Humm is an experienced development lawyer whose focus is the residential sector, where she advises a range of national and regionally based house-builder clients on the acquisition of land for development. Humm said: “I am absolutely delighted to have been promoted to partner. Having trained with Lester Aldridge, my progression and promotion are a great example of the firm’s commitment to investing in its people. I look forward to continuing my career at the firm, the new challenges this role will bring and assisting other members of the team on their LA career journey.”
Matthew Barrow, managing partner at Lester Aldridge, commented: “I am delighted to welcome Parisa, Rachel and Rebecca to the partnership. As well as being extremely able lawyers, they have all contributed significantly to the development of their teams, and are committed to LA and our culture.”
