James Wakefield appointed CEO at RBW
Gatwick based RBW Consulting has a new CEO.
The life sciences recruitment firm have appointed James Wakefield as Chief Executive Officer following a restructuring of their board.
Mr. Wakefield has a wealth of senior management experience in the recruitment industry, is currently the UK Chair and member of the global representative committee for The Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo). He will now be charged with the geographical expansion of the firm in the US and UK markets.
The new CEO recently spent 18 months employed by Kernel Global, where he was tasked with the growth of international operations, particularly the US, German and French markets.

Wakefield’s appointment is among a number of staff changes at RBW. Emma Thorp, previously Chief Growth Officer, has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for EU and North America, whilst Co-founders Richard Warren and Nick Rapley are to take a step back from their current CEO and President roles to focus more on their Board responsibilities. Chairman Tim Perman continues in post.
