Cheltenham-based PR and media communications agency, HeadOn PR, has made two new hires. Rahim Bas and Kristy Westlake join as Public Relations Account Executives following a boom in new business as organisations explore ways to drive growth and brand identity.

Rahim, who lives in Worcester, is an experienced PR and Communications specialist with a BA Hons Degree in Marketing, Advertising and PR from the University of Worcester, and joins the expanding team at Eagle Tower, Montpellier. In his previous role as PR and Communications Executive for Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce, Rahim was an editor of a local business magazine, and prior to this, was a Marketing Intern at Worcester College of Technology.

He said: “It’s great to be joining such a creative team and having the chance to work with such an exciting, growing client portfolio. Having previously worked in an in-house PR department, I’ve worked closely with agencies in the past and the fast pace and creative element to storytelling and pitches has always interested me. I’m looking forward to being part of HeadOn PR’s future.”

Kristy Westlake, who lives in Gloucestershire, also joins the fast-growing PR agency as Public Relations Account Executive following her recent completion of her Master’s degree in Professional Writing from Falmouth University.

Kirsty said: "Having completed my Master's in professional writing, I’m now extremely eager to start building my career in the world of PR, while developing my industry skills and learning from one of the best agencies in the field. I look forward to working with a variety of brands, helping them to raise their profile and stand out from the crowd.”

Verity Blake, Managing Director at HeadOn PR added: We’re thrilled to have both Rahim and Kristy join the team here at HeadOn PR. As our client portfolio continues to grow and diversify, Rahim and Kristy bring with them key skills that will ensure our PR and communications services stay ahead of the curve.”
