Southampton- and Winchester-headquartered law firm Paris Smith has made a record 14 promotions.

Four solicitors have risen to associate – Oliver Brady (Dispute Resolution), Emma Cole (Wills, Trusts & Estates), Sarah Hayes (Employment) and Fainche Whelan (Construction).

Six more have made partner at the firm, including employment solicitors Tabytha Cunningham and Charlotte Farrell – who are working in a job share arrangement – as well as Andrew Willshire.

Family lawyers Heather Souter and Dani Taylor are also among the new partners, while fellow family partner Lisa Bray has been made a member of the LLP.

Meanwhile, partners Claire Merritt (Employment), Ed Power (Property Finance) and Jonathon Roy (Corporate) have all been elected to Paris Smith’s Strategic Board.

Huw Miles, Managing Partner, said: “Our newly promoted associates demonstrate the level of talent and dedication that we have within our team, and they will play an important role in driving our business forward in the years to come.

“Our new partners deserve recognition for their contributions to the success of our firm and they will continue to play key roles in our future.

“I’m also excited to begin working with my partners who have been elected to our strategic board. They’re all highly talented people who I’m sure will take us upwards and onwards in the right direction.

“Congratulations to all on these well-deserved achievements.”
