Haines Watts, which has offices in Worcester, Evesham and Tewkesbury, has been named accountancy firm of the year at the 2019 FDs’ Excellence Awards.
Now in their 18th year, the awards highlight the pivotal role that banks, accountancy firms, financial software providers and pension firms play in partnering UK businesses and acknowledge those who go the extra mile to encourage growth and deliver results.
Tim Pearce, managing partner of Haines Watts Worcester, Evesham and Tewkesbury, said: “What really matters is that these awards are voted for by business owners and finance directors across the country rather than a panel of judges.
“Our core client base is owner-managed businesses and to receive this endorsement means a great deal to us.”
Haines Watts has won five awards at the annual event since it was launched and this year the firm saw off competition from other high profile names including Deloitte, KPMG and PwC.
