As a result of further expansion and in line with the brands’ strategic business plan, Fortus is pleased to announce the opening of its southern territory flagship office at Grove House, in Southampton’s Ocean Village. This is in addition to having recently undertaken a major refurbishment of the company’s main Northern office in York.

What for the company is a significant move to consolidate its growing teams across the south, the Southampton office will now bring together and house key specialist divisions in the form of business recovery, audit, service charge and accounting among a wider business advisory offering, all of which the company continues to enjoy huge demand for.

Gordon Johnson, executive director at Fortus, said: "We’re delighted to have moved to our new, modern and dynamic location at Meridians Cross. For some time, we’ve been evaluating the structure of our organisation including where we’re physically based within Southampton. Ocean Village is a well-established and respected hub for professional advisers, with the physical office space now aligning to our values and comprising a distinctive, collaborative and inclusive open plan working environment. Having significantly increased the size of our southern-based teams over the last few months, we’re pleased to have been able to consolidate our full range of business advisory and accounting services under one roof in the south."

With the brand's expansion plans very much on target, the UK wide Fortus team now comprises over 260 people operating in 12 offices. In doing so, and with the recent activity for Fortus on the south coast, which includes the acquisition of local firm Hall & Co and the relocation of members of its growing, national service charge team to Ocean Village, the brand is now better placed than ever to forge ahead in supporting its clients’ businesses with any aspect of their advisory and accounting needs.
