The Corporate team at Cheltenham-based BPE Solicitors has acted for longstanding insurance advisory client Partners& on its acquisition of Ives & Taylor Group Ltd.

The Ives TG team brings new expertise to Partners&, with a number of exciting business and individual insurance clients based across the North West.

Corporate Partner Adam Kean worked closely with Phil Barton (CEO of Partners&) and his team to ensure the transaction with Stephen Buckley and Anthony Procter (the management team of Ives TG) went smoothly.

BPE’s Corporate team has previously acted for Partners& advising on a significant investment from private equity firm Capital Z Partners and the subsequent acquisition of six insurance advisory businesses.

Adam said: “It was great to work again with Phil and the team, and to see the continued success of the group. We always seek to assist the continued growth of our clients and to work with Partners& again was a pleasure”.

Phil Barton, CEO of Partners&,added:  “Adam and the team at BPE always provide us with strong commercial advice and I am grateful to have found a business partner to support our growth strategy. Joining forces with Stephen Buckley, Anthony Procter and the Ives TG team is a natural fit from a values and cultural perspective and will create a hub for Partners& in the North of England. The move is an important step for us in developing our national footprint and is in line with our strategy to build the best insurance advisory business in the UK”.
