Worcestershire-based security solutions company Ecl-ips is pleased to welcome experienced business development professional, Peter Coughlin, to its team.

Peter, who lives in South Wales, will be working across England and Wales, to grow the business from our base in Stoke Prior near Bromsgrove.

He will also be seeking to expand the reach of Security Group, the Bristol-based company Ecl-ips bought in 2020 that operates across the South-West of England. Both companies offer advanced CCTV, access control, intruder alarms and monitoring solutions in their regions.

Ecl-ips and Security Group can offer solutions to the commercial, public sector, charitable and educational sectors. Existing customers include both state and independent schools; the firm also has clients operating in manufacturing, retail, the audio-visual industry and high net-worth individuals.

Peter has worked across a number of industries including Fire and Security; IP networks; Telecommunications and most recently in Construction. He has worked with professionals from the beginning of a construction project, writing specifications for architects, smoothing the process through to contractors and project delivery.

In a message to all prospective clients Peter said: “I will focus on providing you with solutions that are right for your organisation, taking you through the process from inception to commissioning stage, providing a single point of contact throughout.”

Welcoming Peter to Ecl-ips and Security Group, Aaron Kernaghan Managing Director of both companies said, “This is an exciting time for us as we seek to grow our business, particularly focusing on working with architects and M&E contractors so they understand the benefit of the advanced security and monitoring systems we provide. Peter provides a great fit for our team with his past experience across a range of sectors, including fire and security.”
