Cheltenham-based BPE Solicitors has acted for longstanding client Partners& on its acquisition of Focus Oxford Risk Management Ltd (Focus ORM).

The Focus team brings a range of expertise to Partners&, particularly in key growth areas such as Science and Technology and Private Clients, enhancing the existing practices in these important sectors.

Corporate Partner Adam Kean, with assistance from Angharad Doyle (Associate) and Solicitor Rupert Parker, worked closely with Phil Barton (CEO of Partners&) and his team to ensure the transaction with Nick Jones (Managing Director of Focus) went smoothly.

BPE’s Corporate team has previously acted for Partners& advising on a significant investment from private equity firm Capital Z Partners and the subsequent acquisition of five insurance advisory businesses.

Adam commented, “It was great to work with Phil and the team again, and to see the continued success of the brand. Our aim is to always work alongside our clients as trusted advisers, and we look forward to continuing to work with Partners& to build their offering”.

Phil Barton, CEO of Partners&, said, “Adam and the team at BPE always provide us with sound, commercial advice and I am grateful to have found a business partner to support our growth strategy. Joining forces with Nick Jones and the Focus team will be a fantastic asset to Partners& and is in line with our strategy to build the best insurance advisory business in the UK..”
