BPE Solicitors’ Corporate team and Hazlewoods Corporate Finance team have advised ecological specialist Keystone Environmental Limited on its share sale to Origin Enterprises plc.

With sustainability and good environmental practice at the core of both businesses, Origin's acquisition of Gloucestershire-based Keystone will strengthen the group's positioning within the international ecology market, whilst improving client experience and expanding upon the mission of sustainable land use.

As Origin continues to pave the way for optimising sustainable agriculture and food production through innovative expertise, Keystone's dedicated investment in research and development, along with new sector and regional location focus, is well placed to support the group's growth strategy.

Adam Kean( pictured), Corporate Partner at Cheltenham-based BPE, and Paul Fussell, a partner at Cheltenham-based Hazlewoods Corporate Finance, worked closely with Keystone to ensure a seamless approach to the sale.

The Corporate team at BPE oversaw the legal elements of the share sale, including the due diligence and transaction documents, while Hazlewoods Corporate Finance advised on the financial and taxation elements of the deal.

Adam said, “It was a pleasure to work with Sharon and Oliver Tucker of Keystone and I am delighted to have been able to deliver for him/her the desired outcome."

Paul added, “The transaction is a strategic acquisition for Origin, who are well placed to expand on Keystone’s achievements in what is a growing industry sector. We wish Origin and Keystone all the very best for the future."
