Bournemouth-based law firm Steele Raymond has hired commercial property and residential solicitor Emma Pope.

Emma is joining Steele Raymond as a partner having spent the past eight years at Paris Smith. Steele Raymond has marked her arrival as a monumental step for their specialist development offering.

Specialising in commercial property, Emma’s expertise is in residential development law with a particular focus on site acquisition and planning.

Emma said: “Steele Raymond have been on my radar for some time; the firm has significantly raised its profile over the past five or six years.”

“The firm’s recent hires were a big factor in my decision to join; the quality of the people choosing to join Steele Raymond is real barometer for the firm’s quality and ambition.

“I’d like to help continue the impressive growth of the firm’s residential development offering. I think I can help to bring in another stream of work to compliment that which is already being delivered so effectively.''
