Blandy & Blandy’s new Wokingham office opens for business
Blandy & Blandy has officially cut the ribbon on its new Wokingham office marking a new era for the Thames Valley legal firm.
Borough Mayor Cllr Beth Rowland and Cllr Stephen Conway, Leader of Wokingham Borough Council, were invited to cut the ribbon at 5 Market Place on October 18.
The firm, which also has offices in Reading and Henley-on-Thames, will provide a full range of legal service to private and commercial clients in and around the borough, where many clients are already located.
Speaking at Blandy & Blandy’s recent launch event in the town, Cllr Stephen Conway said: “I’m delighted to welcome Blandy & Blandy to Wokingham. I’m particularly pleased to see a company with a strong record, over many years, of engagement with the local community. Wokingham will benefit not just from the presence of a firm of long-established and highly regarded solicitors, but also from a community-minded business, willing to play its part in supporting local charities and initiatives designed to improve the quality of life in Wokingham.”
Wokingham Borough Mayor Cllr Beth Rowland followed and shared her experience of dealing with Blandy & Blandy over many years and warmly welcomed the firm to Wokingham.
Nick Burrows, a partner at Blandy & Blandy and the firm’s chairman, said: “We believe that Wokingham is an excellent place to do business and, as a good number of colleagues will attest to, to live.
“We are delighted to be joining the professional and wider community in Wokingham, in support of our continued growth and to allow us to best serve the needs of both new and existing clients in the borough and surrounding areas such as Bracknell.”
Blandy & Blandy is recognised as a top tier firm in both of the UK’s leading guides to the legal profession, Chambers UK and The Legal 500.
