Thames Valley law firm Blandy & Blandy has strengthened its Family Law team with the appointment of Claire Clarke as a partner.

Claire brings over 20 years’ experience as a specialist Family lawyer and has previously worked at a specialist Family Law firm in London and a top ranked UK and international law firm.

A recommended lawyer in The Legal 500, Claire is described as “an impeccable adviser in children and financial remedy proceedings” and is noted for her “exceptional poise” “unflappable presence even in the most contentious cases” and “keen emotional intelligence”.

She has also featured as a recommended lawyer in The Spear’s 500 Index, which comments “the breadth of Claire’s practice and her dedication to her clients underline her strong credentials.”

Claire is a member of Family Law body Resolution and offers a depth and breadth of expertise in all aspects of Family Law. She is also both a qualified collaborative lawyer and an accredited international break up and divorce coach.

Claire will primarily be based at Blandy & Blandy’s Reading offices, but also advise clients from the firm’s offices in Henley-on-Thames and Wokingham, as well as remotely.

Claire joins fellow partners Claire Dyer and Tasha-Bevan-Stewart and eight other lawyers and advisers, making Blandy & Blandy’s Family Law team one of the largest and longest established in the region.

She said: “I am delighted to be joining Blandy & Blandy. As well as being one of the Thames Valley’s leading and longest established law firms it is home to a top tier and very well-respected Family Law team. I am excited to be joining such a great team and am very much looking forward to making a contribution.’’

Team head Claire Dyer added: “It is wonderful to be welcoming Claire to our team, further solidifying our breadth of expertise. Claire brings a wealth of knowledge and experience and we are all looking forward to working alongside her.”
