Blandy & Blandy Advises M’s Building Supplies on Sale

Leading Thames Valley law firm Blandy & Blandy recently advised the shareholders of Reading-based M’s Building Supplies on the sale of the business to Sydenhams Ltd.

M’s is a highly regarded builders merchants, established in 2012, and serves the needs of Reading and the surrounding area, with revenues of more than £3 million.

After running a two-stage competitive process Sydenhams was selected as the preferred party. The process consisted of 100% share sale of the business and a separate sale of the land and property.

Sydenhams is an independent family run company with a long tradition of supplying timber and building materials throughout central and southwest England.

M’s provides Sydenhams further regional growth with an opportunity to develop the product offering and locality served.

Corporate partner David Few, assisted by solicitor Emma Ford, advised on the transaction, alongside Commercial Property partner Katja Wigham.

Rob Starr, corporate finance director at UHY, supported by Irfan Topia, corporate finance assistant manager, also advised on the deal.
