Leading law firm Blake Morgan has appointed Jenny Williamson as a Partner within the firm’s Family Practice.

With over 15 years’ experience, Jenny re-joins the firm’s Southampton office as a Partner, having previously worked for Blake Morgan for more than three years, including as Legal Director. Her expertise includes assisting clients with a wide range of financial work, including divorce proceedings and nuptial agreements, while also acting on child arrangement orders and care proceedings. Jenny’s specialist area of interest is 360 wealth protection.

While at Blake Morgan, Jenny’s performance has been recognised for two consecutive years in 2021 and 2022, being named as an ‘Associate to Watch’ in the Chambers and Partners UK rankings, and also a ‘Rising Star’ in the Legal 500. She is also a member of Resolution (the national organisation for family lawyers committed to non-confrontational divorce, separation and other family problems).

Jenny Williamson, Partner at Blake Morgan, says: “With the landmark introduction of no-fault divorce just coming into force under the Divorce, Dissolution and Separation Act 2020 – that introduces no-fault divorce aimed at reducing conflict between separating couples – this is pivotal time to be re-joining Blake Morgan’s Family Practice and I’m thrilled to be returning as a Partner. I’m looking forward to supporting our clients who need help in resolving financial matters or agreeing arrangements for children, or need help protecting and preserving their assets against future financial changes.”

Helen Bunker, Head of Private Client, says: “Jenny’s return means that our Family Practice Group now grows to four Partners. Adding to the six Partners in our Private Client teams, this demonstrates the wealth of knowledge and extensive experience at senior levels in our Family and Private Client practice groups, who are supported by a larger team of extremely talented and highly regarded colleagues. We’re pleased to welcome Jenny back to Blake Morgan and have her expertise within our growing, ambitious and strong-performing team.”
