Legal firm BDB Pitmans has announced a raft of new appointments to its Reading office. The firm has offices in London, Cambridge, Reading and Southampton. The new Reading hires will bolster the existing team of 18 partners and over 80 lawyers, providing legal expertise and local knowledge across the firm’s services to clients in the Thames Valley and beyond.

  • Owen Reynolds rejoins the firm as a consultant in family law, with over 25 years’ experience advising on divorce, matrimonial finances, cohabitee disputes, private law children disputes, domestic violence injunctions and pre and post-nuptial agreements.
  • Laura Binnie, senior associate, advises a range of clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. She has substantial experience in representation throughout employment tribunal proceedings, with a particular expertise and interest in cases of disability discrimination.
  • Sehb Hundal, a case manager in the new build real estate team, offers end-to-end specialist advice on land acquisition, tax, infrastructure and planning, construction and dispute resolution for house builder clients.

BDB Pitmans have recently extended their partnership with Reading FC Women’s team, which sees them as the back of shirt sponsor for the next three seasons, after previously announcing their status as ‘Official Legal Partner’ for Reading FC Women. The firm has also committed to supporting a number of community initiatives during the club’s 150th anniversary campaign.

Andrew Smith, managing partner at BDB Pitmans, comments: "These appointments demonstrate our continuing commitment to further enhance and expand the range of services we are able to provide to individual and business clients across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas."
