Basingstoke-based Concept Energy Solutions has strengthened its leadership team with two senior promotions.
Former Head of Consulting Alan Kiff has been promoted to the role of Technical Director, which will see the Chartered Engineer taking on responsibility for technical excellence across the business and leading the improvement of the firm’s systems and process using his 20 years’ experience in energy management.
Meanwhile Jamie Green is taking over as Head of Consulting from Alan, moving up from his role as Senior Consultant and decarbonisation team leader. Concept, which offers energy expertise to facilities management firms, engineering consultancies and large energy users, across both the public and private sectors, boasts a number of clients including Centrica, CBRE, Amey and Broadgate Estates, along with several councils and NHS trusts.
Peter Stockwell, Managing Director at Concept, said: “We are seeing increased demand for our building decarbonisation expertise as FMs and engineering consultancies respond to their clients’ net zero briefs.
“Alan and Jamie are excellent at what they do, and in their new roles they will be ensuring that we continue to deliver operational excellence in this growth area.”
Alan Kiff said: “Whilst the fundamentals of energy management and decarbonisation of buildings remain constant, the technologies that can be deployed are changing at pace.
“It is Concept’s role to keep abreast of these changes to provide our clients with the best possible independent advice so that they can make informed decisions.”
Jamie Green said: “I’m delighted to be leading the consultancy department in delivering best-in-class services for clients. The team already delivers consistently high-quality consultancy based on sound knowledge of building services, engineering principles and relevant legislation; I look forward growing our core services with new and existing clients and, as a trusted partner, helping them face the growing pressures of energy management and decarbonisation.”
