B P Collins launches tenth annual £10k fund for Bucks charities
Buckinghamshire law firm B P Collins has announced the return of its £10,000 fund for charities and not-for-profit organisations across the county.
Since 2014, the firm has put £100,000 towards almost 40 charities in line with its three core values – to build stronger communities, provide better futures and help to create safer lives.
The money may be put towards general running costs, launching a new project or buying new equipment.
Applications are open until 31st January 2024.

Simon Deans, senior partner at B P Collins, said: “Since B P Collins launched its stewardship fund with Heart of Bucks 10 years ago, we’ve helped to fund new charity projects, provided a lifeline for struggling organisations and directly helped their beneficiaries.
“We look forward to meeting the incredible organisations we’ll be supporting this year, to learn how our funding will make an impact in 2024.”
Among last year’s beneficiaries was Wycombe Women’s Aid, who provide safe accommodation as well as practical and emotional support to women, children and young people experiencing the effects of domestic violence.
They received £3,000 through the fund, saying: “This grant will be of huge benefit to Wycombe Women’s Aid.
“We’ll be using it to support a number of areas of service delivery, from offsetting some of the increased utility costs within the refuge, to enabling workers to undertake a number of training sessions to enhance their work with the women, children and young people.”
Once applications close, B P Collins will draw up a shortlist of charities guaranteed to receive a financial award.
They will each be invited to a lunch organised by the firm in Gerrards Cross, before its staff vote for the organisations they’d like to receive a donation ranging from £3,000 to £1,250.
Previous recipients have included environmental, refugee, domestic abuse, youth and health charities.
Henry Allmand, Chief Executive of Heart of Bucks, added: “We’re thrilled to be supporting the philanthropic efforts of B P Collins for another year.
“Its funds provide such a valuable resource to local communities and allow charities and community groups to continue making a real difference.”
