Triton Showers wins Planet Mark Sustainability Campaign accolade
Nuneaton-based manufacturer Triton Showers has been named the winner of Planet Mark’s Sustainability Campaign award, in recognition of its impactful ‘Every Drop Makes a Difference’ initiative.
The influential campaign’s overarching objective was to educate consumers on how they can reduce their bathrooms’ carbon footprint.
This was achieved by promoting behaviour change and motivating consumers to consider the cost benefits – and energy and water savings – of showering for less time, as well as increasing awareness of the benefits of electric showers.
Debuting across multiple media channels – including national television – and in retail stores, the initiative created widespread awareness of how consumers can save energy, water and money, whilst helping to reduce their carbon footprint.
Triton launched a unique online water and energy savings calculator, which asks simple questions about household occupants and their typical showering habits, before providing personalised tips and suggestions for improvement.
The calculator also provides an overview of current showering cost, carbon, energy and water usage, so that users can identify ways to reduce their impact at home.
Recognising that change comes from within, Triton also promoted the campaign across its own workforce through internal communications and projects to drive cultural change.
