Dorset-based BOFA International, which continues to grow in both UK and overseas markets, has appointed Ross Stoneham to the position of engineering manager.
Stoneham joins BOFA after spending seven years in the automotive industry managing design projects from cradle to grave and gaining experience in quality, design and project management along the way. His new role with BOFA will see him jointly manage the R&D team and he will focus on improving the design development process and the pre-production approval process to robustly deliver strategic sourcing projects.
He commented: “I wanted to move on from my previous role at a global automotive company, and experience a smaller, more agile organisation to develop my core understanding of manufacturing / engineering businesses. BOFA is in prime position to leverage its recent success and accelerate its growth within the manufacturing industry – I am looking forward to being a part of that; contributing to and experiencing the change at first hand.”
Award-winning BOFA International is the acknowledged market leader in portable fume and dust extraction technology and currently exports 90% of its systems to 120 countries around the world. The company’s technologies remove potentially harmful airborne contaminants from workplace environments while simultaneously helping customers optimise productivity.
