BOFA International, a global leader in portable fume and dust extraction systems, has promoted Daniel Kench to the new position of systems director to support the continued growth of the company in the UK and around the world.
Kench has a background in Lean working and continuous improvement, with more than 10 years’ experience implementing business support systems, such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
For the last three years, Kench has worked at BOFA as systems & process manager, ensuring the company’s systems support the business’ growth strategy.
Kench commented: “I am delighted to be enhancing my involvement in shaping the systems that will support the company through its plans for growth. BOFA is a very progressive business and an exciting place to work, and I am very much looking forward to the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead in my new position.”
BOFA has enjoyed strong growth in recent years and the company’s systems have had to grow with it. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, BOFA’s cloud-based ERP system has enabled the company to work flexibly without any disruption to business.
An important part of Kench’s role is to ensure that BOFA systems support expansion into new territories and integrate with international partners. His expertise was also important during the acquisition of BOFA by Donaldson in 2018.
