National accountants call manufacturing conference tomorrow to help sector tackle COVID-19
Crowe, the national audit, tax, advisory and risk firm is hosting a nationwide conference call, to discuss the challenges facing UK manufacturing during the Covid-19 crisis on Friday 1 May 2020.
The discussion, via the Zoom platform, will hosted by Crowe’s National Head of Manufacturing Johnathan Dudley.
He said: “The Covid-19 crisis has presented a number of challenges for manufacturing businesses.
“At Crowe, we have been working hard to lobby, influence and ultimately change the approach to the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS), the introduction of the Coronavirus Large Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CLBILS) and other measures.
“We would like the input of people working in the sector, so we can feed back to the government. We want to know what, is working and what is not and enable an open discussion with fellow manufacturers.”
As well as manufacturers, the conference will also feature input from organisations such as the Confederation of British Metalforming, based in West Bromwich in the heart of UK manufacturing.
Those interested can join the Zoom conference on Friday 1 May at 12 noon. For details on accessing the meeting, contact Nathan Sanghera on [email protected] or call 0121 543 1900.
