Gloucester manufacturer celebrates seven year safety milestone
A global leader in the engineering, manufacture and application of insulation marked a significant milestone this month: seven years without a Lost Time Injury.
A Queen's Award-winning company Advanced Insulation which is based in Gloucester, has a key role in producing products and developing effective and innovations for the oil & gas, renewables, subsea and marine sectors.
This milestone follows success in winning awards for its commitment and approach to health and safety from Make UK (formally EEF), the manufacturers organisation, within the UK on a regional and national level.
Group QHSE Manager Dan Howell said, “This length of time without an injury of this nature is a remarkable achievement and highlights the positive health and safety culture within the business. It is the result of the commitment from all our Gloucester employees and is a credit to their hard work."
Advanced Insulation is a global supplier of insulation for some of the earth's most challenging environments across the world in the oil, gas, subsea and marine sectors since 2007. It invests up to 10% of its revenue into R&D year on year, when has helped the company grow substantially, opening new manufacturing facilities globally in Brazil, UAE, South Korea and Kazakhstan.
