Tewkesbury-based Geometric Manufacturing Ltd, which makes enclosures and mechanical components for the defence and security industry, has acquired the business and assets of another Tewkesbury-based business, sheet metal fabricator manufacturer Precision Engineering Pieces Ltd, which had entered a pre-pack administration process.
The acquisition encompasses PEP's entire business and assets, including state-of-the-art equipment, experienced personnel, and established customer base. Geometric said the acquisition strengthens it's position, adding complementary capabilities, improving supply chain integration and enhancing product offerings.
Paul Wenham, Managing Director at Geometric Manufacturing, said: “We are committed to providing a seamless transition for Precision Engineering Pieces Ltd’s employees and customers.
“This acquisition secures jobs and preserves over 40 years of excellence in the sheet metal fabrication sector. We are excited to welcome PEP's talented team and their expertise.”
Geometric now occupies over 50,000 sq.ft of industrial space across three sites in the Tewkesbury area, serving a customer base across the whole UK and beyond.
