Crawley's Volution Group completes I-Vent acquisition

Crawley-based ventilation manufacturer and supplier Volution Group has completed its acquisition of European company I-Vent.

This latest acquisition for the company is part of a series of expansive moves made by Volution in recent times, including their recent submission, in May 2023, of a clearance application to acquire indoor air company Proven Systems.

The capacity for these overseas moves reflects the success that Volution reported in their HY2023, in which the company announced an 8.5 per cent increase in revenue and a 7.1 per cent increase in adjusted operating profit.

 Volution chief executive officer Ronnie George said: "We are delighted to have completed this earnings accretive transaction, and look forward to welcoming our new colleagues in I-Vent to the Group.  The acquisition gives the Group access to fast growing new markets in Slovenia and Croatia, and I-Vent's innovative Low Carbon product solutions will further enrich our Group's expansive product portfolio, particularly in decentralised heat recovery."
