Bournemouth-based Efret helps partner firm get tools to Ukraine
Bournemouth-based logistics specialists Efret have played a key part in coordinating the transport of surplus tools to Ukraine.
The firm stepped in after a recent project in Poland with their European partners NSPG Global came to an end.
Rather than recalling the many hand drills, impact drivers, cutting tools, pallet trucks and printers left over after the job, NPSG decided instead to put them towards rebuilding efforts in neighbouring Ukraine.

They enlisted the help of Alex Paterson, Key Account Manager at Efret, who then got in touch with Karol Swiacki, CEO of charity Ukraine Relief.
Together with Syncreon they organised for two 13.6m artic trucks to make the 752km trip to Lviv – which they completed within 72 hours – and the tools are now being put to good use.
“It’s been a privilege to be involved with this opportunity to help the people of Ukraine secure some much-needed equipment”, said Alex.
Karol added: “It’s amazing how people can play as one team to save others.”
