2023 was a positive year for Torquay-based holiday company Daish's Holidays, with annual turnover and coach travel to its 12-strong portfolio of hotels increasing significantly over the past year.

Turnover and coach travel have seen an increase of almost 10 per cent compared to the previous 12 months, with the firm carrying 95,229 passengers across its fleet of 35 coaches last year.

Daish’s Holidays will be celebrating 45 years as a family-run business in 2024 and is working on exciting plans for the next 12 months, including further investment to upgrade its coach fleet and the introduction of a new website.

Paul Harper, Commercial Director at Daish’s Holidays, said: “We have been delighted with the growth in business over the last year, and anticipate a strong year for coach tourism in 2024 following the high level of interest we have received for new year bookings and beyond.

''While the cost-of-living crisis continues to impact household budgets we recognise the importance to deliver affordable holidays and outstanding service to our loyal and growing customer base.

“We have offered self-drive and coach trip breaks to our hotels for almost 45 years and have attained excellent customer loyalty, with many visitors returning to our hotels year after year.

''Daish offers a wide choice of accommodation at some of the UK’s best locations with great entertainment, all at affordable prices – the ideal combination in the current economic climate.”
