The stunning Christmas lights display at Stroud’s Five Valleys shopping centre have now been switched on ready for the festive period.

The display which features Icicle lights, Garlands and swags in the gallery area, Christmas trees and colourful festoon lights in the market is now in place and lit up for the whole of November and December.

Many essential retailers remain open at Five Valleys throughout November. These include Home Bargains, Savers, Wilko and Master Cobbler. Most of the traders at the Five Valleys indoor Artisan Market are offering click and collect, take away and home delivery services to ensure that customers can support their local businesses throughout November.

Non-essential retailers are scheduled to re-open their doors after the month-long lockdown finishes on December 2nd.

The team are also gearing up to host a number of Night Markets on the run up to Christmas. On Friday 4th, Friday 11th and Friday 18th the Five Valleys Market will be open until 9pm, getting visitors into the festive spirit whilst enjoying the very best food and drink that Stroud has to offer.

Five Valleys Centre Manager Dionne Moore said: “The build up to Christmas is always our favourite time of year at Five Valleys and though things are very different this year it is really lovely to see our Christmas lights switched on and looking so beautiful.

“We’d like to thank all our customers for continuing to support our stores and traders here at Five Valleys, especially those which are continuing to offer a click and collect service so our shoppers can continue to pick up their favourite items for Christmas.”
