Bob Champion MBE and the Trustees to host exclusive Summer Lunch at the home of racing legend

On Friday 31st August 2018, Bob Champion MBE and Trustees of the Bob Champion Cancer Trust will host their summer lunch at Jackdaws Castle, home of Jonjo O’Neill Racing and invites you to book tickets for this exclusive opportunity to enjoy lunch with racing experts…

Tickets =  £95 per person and tables are of 10 and include:

  • Tour of the incredible Jackdaws Castle
  • Exquisite locally sourced lunch hosted by a panel of racing experts, Bob Champion, Jonjo O’Neill, Mike Cattermole and a special surprise guest.
  • Tour from 11.00am
  • Drinks Reception from 11.30am
  • Lunch served 12.45pm

During the delicious three-course lunch there will be three presentations by the panel, covering all aspects of the racing world including a Q&A session after each section. We hope that you will enjoy this exclusive yet informal day, visiting one of the top training yards and hearing from some of racing’s favourite characters. See for yourself the amazing facilities available and how Jonjo and his dedicated staff care for their horses.

After Bob Champion and Aldaniti won the 1981 Grand National, "racing's greatest fairytale" his journey led to the foundation in 1983 of The Bob Champion Cancer Trust.

Jonjo O’Neill continues to enjoy one of the most successful careers in horseracing. As both jockey and trainer he has reached virtually every height this great sport has to offer, along the way overcoming adversity, including beating cancer. Through all of this, his love of horseracing, his affinity with horses and thirst for success has never changed.
