Strictly Worcestershire meet the contestants – Grace Walton & Jack Tingle

We decided to sign up to Strictly as it was a new challenge for us and dancing is far out of our comfort zone. We’ve been involved in charity boxing events, however we’ve had no experience whatsoever of dancing.

The Worcester Community Trust (Warndon Hub) has helped massively providing plenty of support and we are fortunate to have this chance to put extra hours into our training.

We’ve decided to raise money for Headway Worcestershire as it is close to our hearts. The charity Headway has supported Grace’s dad as he has suffered from many strokes over the years. We almost lost him a few years ago, however with plenty of support he is slowly recovering. We are close friends, which is a risky business as we sometimes get on each other’s nerves, however so far the experience is going well and we haven’t fallen out with each other YET!

Grace is a reporter at the Worcester News and Jack is a data analyst at Onsite Central. Grace definitely has the travel bug as she lived in Cyprus for five years and studied abroad while traveling in Australia for six months. Jack lived in Yorkshire for the first 12 years of his life before adapting to life in Worcestershire.
