Financial support from Redwood Technologies Group, a Bracknell-based technology firm, is to fund the purchase of lifesaving equipment for Berkshire Lowland Search and Rescue.

Redwood funding will purchase specialist, lightweight defibrillators for the primary search and rescue resource for Thames Valley Police’s team of volunteers, who search for high risk vulnerable individuals.

Sean Taylor, CEO at Redwood Technologies Group, said: “Although we are a global company, we ensure that each of our offices around the world support the local communities where they are located.

“In the UK we are proud to have been established in Berkshire for nearly 30 years and delighted to have assisted tens of local voluntary groups and charities over that time.
