A new digital network for businesspeople and digital marketers in Hampshire has been launched.

Hampshire Digital, founded by Sophie Roberts, owner of Fareham-based digital marketing firm Koozai, is intended to offer a space where people can connect, collaborate, network and support each other with everything related to digital, digital marketing and business.

It aims to tackle the digital skills shortage in the region by equipping people with the necessary skills to counteract difficulties arising from the challenging economic climate, a need evidenced by Koozai seeing a 40 per cent rise in enquiries from people struggling with a digital element of their website or marketing plan.

One key benefit the digital network offers its member is the ability to ask questions of several experienced digital marketing, SEO, PR, content marketing, paid advertising, social media, and website development experts from across the county.

The free network also includes access to a private Microsoft Teams live chat of local businesspeople and marketers, where members can ask questions and talk to each other, along with free promotional opportunities such as articles, blogs, newsletters and PR, on top of access to free digital marketing guides.

Sophie has 28 years’ experience in digital marketing, having delivered marketing campaigns for brands including Golden Wonder, Airfix & Humbrol, and Victorinox Swiss Army Knives. Her agency, Koozai, has been providing leading brands and companies in the county with digital marketing services for the past 16 years.

Sophie Roberts, Managing Director of Koozai said: “I understand from personal experience that when things get tough with the economy, it can have a huge knock-on effect and presents new challenges that need responding to quickly.

“Many of our clients experienced this during the pandemic and the 2008 recession, and it was only by banding together and supporting each other where we needed help that we were able to help each other not just survive, but thrive during difficult times.

“With inflation at a record high and the cost-of-living crisis starting to bite, our new Hampshire Digital network is there to help businesses to connect, share ideas, and support each other with their problems so that we can get through any oncoming economic headwinds together.”
