Last year's fun day was a huge success with over 3,500 attendees and we want this year to be better than ever as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing and commemorate the 75th anniversary of D-Day. Full STEAM Ahead is a science, technology, engineering, arts and maths themed family fun day that celebrates local community links whilst inspiring our next generation to get involved in STEAM.
There are plenty of hands-on activities and demonstrations to make complex topics both fun and interesting, so children will do more than just learn. With opportunities to see how concepts relate to life, it can spark a passion for STEAM in all the family. Take time to relax, sample the delicious food on offer and browse the market stalls. We also have a climbing wall, bungee run, inflatable obstacle course, soft play and electric go-karts for children to enjoy! This day is able to happen because of the amazing and generous sponsorship we receive from local businesses. However to ensure the ongoing success of the day the entry fee per family will now be £10.
Full STEAM Ahead is a not-for-profit event with all proceeds going to Helen and Douglas House and Be Free YC, a charity that supports young carers in Oxfordshire.
If you are interested in showcasing what you do in a way which you think will be interesting and fun for children and young adults, sponsor us, or have a stall at the event, then please call us on 01235 567350 or email sarah@bluestreamrecruitment.co.uk.
We need volunteers to help make the 2019 Full STEAM Ahead Family Fun Day a success. Activities include everything from car park stewards, to entrance duties, to setting up or clearing the site afterwards and much more. If you have any questions or would like to volunteer to help on the day please call us on 01235 567350 or email sarah@bluestreamrecruitment.co.uk.
In the meantime you can keep up to date with news on who's attending on our Fun Day Facebook page @FullSTEAMAheadfamilyfunday or join our mailing list here.
