Foot Anstey launches electric car scheme to over 600 employees
National law firm Foot Anstey is looking to reduce its carbon footprint by incentivising its over 600 employees to drive electric vehicles (EV) or ultra-low emission vehicles (ULEV). The firm, which has offices across the South West, London, and Southampton, has struck a deal with Tusker, the car benefit company, to offer an affordable way for its employees to lease a 'green' vehicle.
The scheme creates allows employees to direct some of their pre-tax salary towards the monthly payments.
Dave Bloor, Chief Technology Officer at Foot Anstey, who has signed up to the scheme said: "I am passionate about the environment and taking personal steps to reduce my family's carbon footprint. This scheme makes this aspiration more realistic by enabling me to switch from a diesel SUV to an all-electric SUV. I had been looking for an all-electric car for a while but didn't think the expense was justifiable."
