Dressing as Dotty the Ladybird is a great sign

Darren Wilkins from City Signs turned into Dotty the Ladybird last week to raise the profile of the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust and over £230 for the charity so far.

Local MD Darren Wilkins visited companies on the local industrial estate, Mill Top Business Park near Hallow, Worcester, in a pledge to raise not only the profile of the charity but also much needed funds for children with cancer.

The scheme, which encouraged all of the local businesses to wear red, was a huge hit and gained just over £230 for the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust. This year, City Signs have chosen the local cause as charity of choice and have set a target of raising £6,000 in their 60th year of trading via their #6For60 campaign. Fundraising events will include an open day, charity golf day and the Worcester 10k run dressed again as the mascot Dotty – so £230 for wearing red is a good start!
