Whiteley’s Croma Security Solutions announces encouraging half-year performance
Whiteley-based Croma Security Solutions Group plc has reported encouraging results from the six months to 31 December 2022.
Revenue grew by 25 per cent to £3.77 million, with an EBITDA of £0.46 million—up from £0.39 million in H1 2021. Croma’s strategic partnership with Finnish firm iLOQ also continues to generate promising returns.
The period saw the purchase of Southern Stronghold and Safecell Security, with the Group eyeing further acquisition opportunities.
Looking to the future, the divestment of Croma Vigilant, a division which provides specialist services including keyholding and corporate security, is expected to be resolved by the end of the current financial year.
Nick Hewson, Non-Executive Chairman at Croma, said: “We are pleased that our decision to invest heavily in our security systems and locks businesses is beginning to show strong returns.
“As set out in December, we will look to deploy the proceeds of the sale of the manned guarding business as and when it is sold into further geographic expansion of our network of security centres.”
