TKC builds on construction offering with J.P. Joinery (Kent) acquisition
TKC Acquisitions has finalised the purchase of J.P. Joinery (Kent), which specialises in the manufacture of sash windows, doors and staircases.
The Tunbridge Wells firm offers bespoke services using traditional, handcrafted methods.
Founded in January 2022 by Mitchell Foley, TKC Acquisitions has targeted a number of similarly niche businesses in the construction industry, with a focus on high-end work.
Mitchell said: “More and more people these days are looking for something unique to show their personality through their properties.

“The bespoke nature of the joinery provided by J.P. Joinery allows for this, whilst also catering for heritage properties that may hold listed status and be restricted by what they can and cannot do.
“The acquisition also provides synergy with Iconic Stairs, who we acquired in August 2023, where there is often a requirement for timber treads or the client would prefer a timber staircase.
“We can now offer all of these services under the one umbrella, without the need to outsource.”
James Young, Partner at Harding Evans Solicitors, advised TKC on both deals.
He added: “Mitchell and his team are building a really strong offering through these acquisitions, which not only perfectly complement each other, but also the market they are positioning themselves in.
“It’s really exciting to help TKC grow in this strategic way and we look forward to working with them again in the future.”
