Law firm Blake Morgan has promoted three of its senior lawyers as new partners at its offices in the Thames Valley.

The appointments are among nine across the firm and mark a significant milestone in the firm’s recent history, with a total of 20 lawyers joining the partnership over the past financial year.

The new partners, based at the firm’s offices in Reading and working across the Thames Valley, are Rebecca North in the banking and finance team, employment law specialist Rajiv Joshi, and Michael Ward in real estate.

Mike Wilson, managing partner at Blake Morgan, said: “I am incredibly proud to welcome these new partners. Their appointments reflect Blake Morgan’s commitment to developing and retaining the people we want in the firm as part of our future.

“As a firm, we place huge value on our culture of mentoring, training and developing the talent that we have and this is demonstrated by our policy of promoting from within wherever possible.

“The new partners, along with their colleagues, will play a key role in supporting Blake Morgan’s future growth as we build on our strength and depth as a leading firm with a wealth of expertise across the full range of practice areas.”

The Thames Valley team is acknowledged within the legal industry and in the independent legal directories, as providing a first-class level of service across a wide range of services including employment; real estate; banking and finance; mergers and acquisitions; private equity, corporate governance; management buy-outs; transactions and joint ventures. In the last 12 months the team has advised on transactions worth approximately £120 million, including AIM listings, sales and acquisitions.
